Parent Preview and Meet & Greet
Join us for a sneak peek of what the students have been working on at band camp! Meet other parents and some of the seasoned Band Fans.
We will meet behind the school in the bus lot, which is located between the school and the stadium. Stadium availability is always questionable this time of year, so we might be viewing from the pavement — but it'll be fun to hear some music either way!
Join us after the preview for refreshments in the band room. This is a great opportunity to ask questions and learn more about how you can get involved in a casual setting.
Looking forward to seeing you there!
IMPORTANT PARKING INFO FOR THIS EVENT: Please park in one of the student lots (labeled on map as 1st, 2nd and 3rd) along SW School Road and walk to the bus lot. This is for the safety of our students as their practice field is the bus lot.
Everything Evening
“Everything Evening” is after practice, we will collect fees, parents fill and submit medical and travel forms. This will occur starting at 5:30 right after practice and attendance is mandatory for parents and students.

Please RSVP to join us for an awards celebration to honor our talented students. Awards will take place in the APAC beginning at 7PM. A dessert reception will follow the awards in the cafeteria. Thank you!

Winter Band Concert
Make sure you are getting your dress code attire, as your student/you will not be allowed to participate when out of concert dress code.
All students are required to wear specific concert attire to perform at a West Forsyth Concert or performance. Students are required to wear either of these options:
A long black dress, with black dress shoes, preferably flats. Leggings or hose underneath the dress is encouraged.
A white button up shirt with a white undershirt, black pants, black socks and black shoes. A black suit coat or tuxedo may be worn.
Failure to adhere to this dress policy will result in the student not being allowed to perform with the band and the consequences that come with that. The band has limited amounts of concert attire available to the students upon request.
