Jamboree Date Change

WS/FCS has moved Band Jamboree to Saturday, September 19th. Please add this date to your calendar as an all-day event. More details to follow.
 

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

We need volunteers to commit to future events, and we kindly ask that each family sign up for 2-3 slots. So far, only 9 people out of 112 have signed up for various events — we really need your help!

Chaperones needed for away games — ride the bus to away games and get into games for free!

Pit Crew — The students do a fantastic job managing the equipment and props, but we always need extra hands for home games and competitions. Plus, get a free show t-shirt to wear at competitions and a front-row seat to take amazing pictures like this one!

Band Fans Volunteer Updates

A critical need right now is a Transportation Chair. If you’re comfortable towing an enclosed trailer and have availability to help, please reach out for more information: info@westforsythbands.com. It would be wonderful to find a group of band supporters able to rotate events and help with this important task.

We are also looking for a Guard Coordinator. If you are willing to represent the Guard at Band Fans Board meetings and help advocate for both the Color Guard and Winter Guard, please reach out to us at info@westforsythbands.com.

Checks can be sent with your student to Mr. Shoemaker and should be made payable to West Forsyth Band Fans.
