FUNDRAISING & SPONSORSHIP GOAL
We've previously shared the extensive costs of running our band program — about $30K annually just for business as usual. If you missed that newsletter, you can read it here. At last week's Band Fans meeting, we agreed on a fundraising goal for this year. Our number one priority is to offset the cost of our greatest need, which is a new sound system. These systems run upwards of $30K. It's a steep goal, but we know our community partners are out there and willing to support us. What We Need From YouParent or Guardian Volunteer:
Our first ask is for a parent volunteer to spearhead contacting area organizations — like the Best Buy Foundation — to see if they'd be willing to donate a system or help offset the cost. We have a head start on what needs to be researched and followed up on, but we need someone to own it. It's truly as simple as using Google/Chat and making phone calls.
